I am also a Graduate of the REALTORS Institute of Virginia, a former Century 21 Residential Specialist, a former Century 21 Investment Specialist, Member of the Charlottesville (CAAR), Virginia (VAR) and National Association of REALTORS (NAR), Member of the Blue Ridge Homebuilders & The National Homebuilders Association. Winner of numerous top sales person awards over 24 years (too many to list here). Winner of the CAAR Honor Society Award for 14 years! I also served on the Board of Directors to the Charlottesville Area Association of REALTORS six of the last seven years and am serving during the 2010 & 2011 years. One of my favorite activities over the years was serving as a Judge for the Blue Ridge Homebuilders Parade of Homes for REALTORS CHOICE Award (12 years from 1994-2006). For the state I was appointed in 2007,2008 & 2009 to serve on the Virginia Association of REALTORS Risk Management Advocy Group. For 2007 & 2008 I was selected as a Delegate from CAAR to VAR. Personal
I'm a Charlottesville native, born and raised in the local area. Before I became a REALTOR, I was a manager of the former Barnabys Pizza and worked in the Construction field for both Carson Construction and A.L. Yancey Contractors. My past community involvement has included volunteer efforts through North Garden Volunteer Fire Department, Charlottesville/Albemarle Jaycees, Church of the Incarnation and many other community events. I have 3 children that attended Albemarle County schools, one is now a Junior at Mary Washington University and one is a Sophomore at VCU, and a daughter in High School who is an excellent lacrosse, player and was recently named to the ESPN Rise Watch list for one of the best High School Players in the Country for the Class of 2013.
