I am writing to thank you for your efforts on my behalf in selling my Charlottesville rental property. As you know, my house was not an "easy" sell, even though it' s fundamentals were sound. Simply put, my house was located in an "unusual" neighborhood and it's appearance was not that of the "typical" rental property. In addition, by living out of town, I was often unavailable to attend to matters that might have facilitated negotiations for sale.
You were undaunted by the unique nature of my house, however. Although other agents had exhibited a lack of enthusiasm for the effort, you never doubted your conviction that we simply had to find the right buyer; one who would be comfortable with the reality rather than superficial attributes of the property. Through your sustained efforts, we found such an individual. And although you had to carry the burden of the arduous negotiations, we ultimately arrived at a contract that was advantageous to both the new owner and to me.
